According to the "Book of Discipline of The United Methodist Church," our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ...."

We as a Church make disciples as we:

• Proclaim the gospel, seek, welcome and gather ourselves and others in the body of Christ;
• Lead ourselves and others to commit our lives to God through Jesus Christ;
• Nurture ourselves and others in Christian living through worship, baptism, Communion, Bible and other studies, prayer and other means of grace;
• Send ourselves and others into the world to live lovingly and justly as the servants of Christ by healing the sick, feeding the hungry, caring for the stranger, freeing the oppressed, and working to have social structures consistent with the gospel; and
• Continue the mission of seeking, welcoming, and gathering ourselves and others into the community of the body of Christ.
